I have the best boss in the world.
Today when Nic and I got up and had gotten ready for work, we noticed that newbie pup, Pepper was having some difficulties with his morning "business". When Nic and I examined him, we found a big clot of fecal matter stuck in his fur under his tail.
We couldn't just leave him all bunged up all day while we were at work, so we tossed a coin to see who would go to work and who would stay and fix the problem. I lost the toss, and Nic went to work.
3-cheers for my Boss though, who is also a dog owner and totally understood the situation and the couple or 3 hours required to fix it properly. She forgave me the unscheduled day off and allowed me the chance to fix up my little pooper.
